Decision Architecture

Decision Conditions

DE: Entscheidungsbedingungen

The designed conditions under which people decide: information, criteria, available time, decision latitude and the consequences of agreement or dissent.

Decision conditions shape what people see, which options appear reasonable and how much effort each choice requires. In Denkraum #38, following an AI recommendation permits immediate work, while dissent requires additional justification. Formal choice remains, but the workflow favours one option. Responsibility for a decision therefore differs from responsibility for designing its conditions.
