Responsibility Architecture

DE: Verantwortungsarchitektur

The deliberately designed order that makes visible who is accountable for which decision — and where responsibility cannot be delegated.

Responsibility architecture is the structure that makes visible who carries which decision, on what basis, and towards whom that responsibility is owed — independently of who or what technically produced the result.

Context

The more work is prepared by systems, the more explicit responsibility has to be designed. Responsibility architecture keeps decisions attributable and is a precondition for credible AI governance.
